Become a “Precision Mechanic – Toolmaking” through an apprenticeship at Werkzeugbau Berger.
It remains the most versatile of all metalworking professions. Manufacturing involves milling, turning, drilling, EDM, grinding, and often non-computer-aided production techniques. The highest standards of quality and precision are required in all manufacturing processes.
During the 3.5-year apprenticeship, you’ll attend vocational school once or twice a week. After successfully completing the apprenticeship, there are many opportunities for further education and training (master craftsman or technician, vocational diploma, high school diploma, college, etc.).
Your future responsibilities
Maintenance, repair, and installation of fire protection systems
Nationwide customer consultation and support
Working and acting independently

Your profile
You must have at least a middle school diploma
A high degree of attention to detail, patience, and tact, along with manual dexterity, strong math skills, and the necessary language proficiency
The ability to work well in a team and a friendly, open attitude toward coworkers
